At night, when we walk under solar-powered street lights, it's easy to notice some issues with their installation. In fact, this situation is caused by the excessive light distance of solar street lamps, as the illumination angle of solar street lamps is related to the height of the lamp post and the illumination angle of the light source. The general angle ranges from 60 to 130 degrees, which can cover a large area. If the distance between two street lamps is slightly large, it will result in illumination dead zones, unable to provide high-quality lighting services to pedestrians. Therefore, the distance between two street lamps needs to be adjusted. If the installation distance between two street lamps is too far, there will be illumination dead zones, while if it is too close, there will be overlapping illumination areas, resulting in resource waste. Therefore, we need to configure reasonably when installing solar street lamps.
Let's take rural roads as an example. The typical rural road is about 5-6 meters wide and requires illumination for over 5 hours. We should make reasonable arrangements and install solar-powered street lights. For a 5-meter wide road, the height of the solar-powered street light pole should be between 5-6 meters, equipped with a 30W light source, a 90W solar panel, and a 90AH battery. The spacing between two lights should be around 35 meters.
When installing solar-powered street lights, it is important to avoid lighting blind spots and overlapping lighting areas. This will not only prevent resource waste but also ensure that reasonable resources are used to illuminate the roads at night.
